In late 2008, NASA plans to send a crew aboard the Atlantis space shuttle for a final service mission on the Hubble Space Telescope. NASA says new instruments and repairs will make the Hubble 90 times more powerful than before.
Earth & Sky’s Jorge Salazar spoke with astronaut John Grace Grunsfeld, Lead Spacewalker and Payload Officer for the Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 4, at the 2008 meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Austin, Texas.
